I’m Glad You Found Me

I’m a Financial Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA®) in Houston. I specialize in financial planning and investment management for young professionals, divorcées, and retirees, and my practice centers on one thing: you, and the goals you are working toward.

Wealth is rarely built by getting one thing right. It comes from how your investments, taxes, retirement income, and estate plans work together over time. When those pieces are handled separately, it is easy to make a sound decision in one area that quietly creates a problem in another. I coordinate all of it under one strategy, starting with what matters most to you and revisiting the plan as your circumstances change. You get a dedicated advisor and the resources of a national wealth-management firm in the same relationship.

The Gap Between Earning Well And Feeling Ready

Doing well on paper does not always translate into feeling settled about your decisions. The Federal Reserve’s most recent household survey shows how common that uncertainty is, even among people who are, by most measures, doing fine. The figures below describe U.S. adults generally and are offered for context, not as a forecast of any individual result.

47%comfortable managing their own investments1
59%of $100k+ earners feel on track for retirement1
54% / 32%confidence, with vs. without investment accounts1

What The Numbers Suggest

Even people with real income and real savings often feel unsure about the calls in front of them. Fewer than half of adults say they are comfortable managing their own investments, and a meaningful share of high earners still do not feel their retirement plan is on solid ground. Uncertainty is not a sign that something is wrong. It usually means the decisions have simply outgrown a do-it-as-you-go approach.

Where I Come In

A written plan replaces that guesswork with a clear read of where you stand and what comes next. I help you look at the whole picture, weigh the trade-offs, and move forward deliberately, whether you want a one-time plan or an ongoing relationship. The goal is not more complexity. It is a sense of direction you can act on with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions I hear most often from people considering working with a financial advisor in Houston. If you do not see yours here, I am glad to talk it through.

What does a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional do?

A CFP® professional helps you organize your full financial picture, including investments, retirement income, taxes, and estate considerations, into one coordinated plan. As a CFP® professional, I am obligated to act in your best interest when providing financial planning and advisory services, so the recommendations you receive are the ones I believe are right for you.

Do I Need To Move My Money Or Open An Account To Work With You?

No. You can engage me for a one-time, flat-fee financial plan or for an ongoing relationship, and there is no requirement to transfer assets or open an account to build a plan together. We can start with the planning work and decide later whether ongoing management makes sense for you.

Do You Only Work With Clients In Houston?

My office is in the Galleria area of Houston on Post Oak Parkway, and I work with individuals and families across the Houston metro and throughout the United States. Virtual meetings make it easy to work together wherever you live.

Who Do You Typically Work With?

I focus on financial planning and investment management for young professionals, divorcées, and retirees. Many of my clients are earning well but want a clear, coordinated strategy so their investments, taxes, and long-term goals all work together rather than being handled separately.

How Are Financial Planning And Wealth Management Different?

Financial planning is the roadmap: it connects your goals, cash flow, and major decisions into one clear plan. Wealth management is broader and ongoing, coordinating your investments, tax planning, retirement income, and estate considerations over time. I offer both, and we choose the level of engagement that fits where you are.

What Should I Expect At A First Consultation?

The first conversation is about you: your goals, your questions, and what prompted you to reach out. There is no cost and no obligation. If it makes sense to work together, I will explain how the process works and what a plan would look like for your situation. You can request a consultation online or call my office at 713-296-8005.
